10 OUR YUCAIPA | DECEMBER 2014 Lace Cookies… So unique and tasty! \½ cup butter or margarine (melted and cooled) ¼ tsp. salt 1 cup sugar 1 cup quick oats 3 tbsp. flour 1 egg beaten well 1 tsp. baking powder Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Use ¼ tsp. dough per cookie. Do not drop dough close together as cookies spread out. Bake 5-10 minutes (when edges just begin to brown). Watch closely. Cool slightly before removing from paper. Keep tightly covered (in Tupperware). Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread Delicious on Christmas morning! ¾ cup granulated sugar ½ cup powdered sugar 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon 2 tbsp. milk 2 cans (7.5 oz. each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits 4 oz. cream cheese ½ cup butter, melted, divided Preheat oven to 350. Cut biscuit dough into quarters with scissors. Mix cinnamon and sugar in medium bowl. Roll dough quarters in cinnamon sugar. Place half of biscuits in to greased 12 cup fluted tube pan. Drizzle with ¼ cup of melted butter. Top with remaining biscuit quarters and melted butter. Top unbaked loaf with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture in bowl. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile prepare glaze (below). Let loaf stand 5 min., invert onto plate. Glaze: 4 oz. (half of 8 oz. pkg.) cream cheese, softened, and ½ cup powdered sugar in bowl with electric mixer until well blended. Add 1 to 2 tbsp. milk, beating until desired consistency is reached.
