In October, Happy Cookers members and guests enjoyed
delicious "light" and traditional desserts. Volunteers paired up
in teams of two — one made a traditional (nice word for high
calorie) dessert while the other team member made the low
calorie version. Some of the offerings made were key lime pie,
a variety of brownies, cake, zucchini bread, pumpkin dip, fruit
desserts and even macaroni (which tastes good any time).
Thanks to our volunteer bakers for the yummy treats.
Congratulations to the newly elected 2015 slate of
officers. They are: President, Suzi Messick; Co-Vice Presidents,
Carol Herwig and Connie Cutner; Secretary, Loretta Dirk; and
Treasurer, De Oravecz.
It has been a phenomenal year. We look forward to
continuing more quality programs. Watch for our
2015 program line up.
