Meditation, an integral part of proceeding on a path of Self (God) – Realization, promises to do just that. When the mind with its myriad thoughts becomes quiet and still, we can feel what lies beyond. The Pure, Non-Dual (only ONE) Consciousness lies beyond and is our True Eternal Being. Satsang (group meeting with a spiritual aim) begins with a 15 min. meditation followed by a discourse, the subject of which is given below. A short video clip is also presented by a teacher adhering to the same teaching of Non-Duality. Meditation: a pathway to truth Party time and don't you forget it. Dec. 8, the second Monday of the month, will bring our annual Holiday Pot Luck. This will be held in the Sun Lakes North Clubhouse beginning at 6 pm. Every year we have a chance to get together without looking at photographs and meet socially. It is always a fun time. BYOB, or just drink coffee. Also bring a dish to share, preferably one with food on it. Our regular meetings will begin again on Jan. 12 in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 7 pm. Newcomers are always welcome to the group. This is an informal gathering and all Sun Lakers are invited to attend.
