We invite you to the Vintage Voices annual holiday
program sponsored by the Sunshine Club on Dec. 14 in the
Ballroom. The program will follow the Golf Cart Parade
that will go throughout the community, with the music
starting at 7 pm. The Sunshine Club, as always, will be
helping provide cookies along with whoever else would
like to bring desserts for the program to help make the
evening a wonderful time being full of holiday cheer and
song.
The program will include some old favorites and fun
songs as well as some new songs. And as always our
favorite guests from the North Pole will be there so bring
your cameras. So, if you are young or just young at heart,
bring your kids, grandkids, family or just friends and have
a joyful time enjoying an evening with us as we perform
for you. Hope everyone shows up for a wonderful time
with the Vintage Voices. You won't regret it!
Guitar Club
The Guitar Club will be returning in January 2015, but with a
little makeover. We will be meeting the first and third Fridays
(with the exception of January). Mark your calendars for
January's meetings: they will be on the 9th and 23rd. We are
going to focus the first Friday's as having some dedicated time
for "Improving the Guitar." This will be a short session and will
include some theory and guitar basics. The third Friday will be
focused on "improving your performance." Lastly, the Guitar
Club participated in the Car Show and Street Fair in October
and raised some funds which will be used for audio equipment,
which has yet to be determined. The holidays are coming quickly
and we would like to wish all of our friends and neighbors Happy
Holidays and a very Happy New Year! Please contact Cynthia
Ellingworth at cynthia0430@verizon.net or(619) 672-6777 if
you are interested in joining the Guitar Club.
