| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | January 2015 | 28 Pickleball Pickleball is alive and well at Four Seasons! On any given Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning, beginning at 7:30 am, you can find a group at the pickleball courts. Pickleball is played on a scaled down size tennis court, with a small racket and a hard wiffle-like ball. We play doubles and switch partners after every game. The hardest part is keeping score! We are open to all players, all skill levels and we have extra rackets and balls, so come on out, we'll teach you how to play. We also like to get together socially. For more information, please contact Maggie Aguirre at (951) 325-8116 or Leonard Gleason at (714) 318-4591. Come on out and join the fun. Tennis Friends Spend your gift cards on new tennis gear! A New Year Resolution! Resolve to buy that new gear now (just in case you have not already done so!). Along with your new spiffy gear, resolve to have fun playing tennis in 2015. There are so many opportunities to get out in the California sun and take to the courts. We have several daily tennis events here at Four Seasons. Weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings… especially Wednesday night drills at 6:59 pm; followed by mixed up doubles at 8 pm. Interestingly enough, each event includes socializing and talking over the upcoming events available in the community. We even have singles players here. If we get enough players we can set up a singles ladder, or any other play level. You can just drop in to any of these events or check with Tracy Trousset, Trish Egan, or Chuck Sims. Furthermore, several of our members are familiar with tennis around the SoCal area so if you have questions let us know. Go play! Table Tennis If you are interested in participating, please contact Arie Groenendyk at (619) 889-6263 or email: ariegdutch@yahoo.com. We meet in the Aerobics room on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3 to 5 pm. Come join the fun! Above: John Tarabochia, better known as John T. Left: Tennis buddies Rob Robinson, Earle Irvine and Mike O'Connor.
