We hope that you had beautiful holidays with family and friends and enjoyed all of the Sun Lakes activities during that busy time. Aren't we blessed to live in such a wonderful community? JANUARY PROGRAM: Our January program will feature Carol Hamre. Carol is a Master Gardener and she will speak with us about unique living gifts and the care of succulent plants. Succulent plants are very popular now and knowing how to care for them will be very beneficial. MANY THANKS: The Garden Club wishes to thank Nadine Wilson for her tireless dedication to the Garden Club's Penny Pines program. Nadine has shepherded this program since 1993. Due to her efforts the Garden Club members have donated over $26,000 and with those funds have planted over 400 acres of trees in our local San Bernardino Mountains. Nadine is retiring. We thank her for her 21 years of dedication. MEMBERSHIP: We will be collecting 2015 yearly dues of $15 at the January Garden Club meeting. This is such an enjoyable club and we would love to have you join us. See you at our January meeting! For further information please call Suzi at 769-7945 or LaNelle at 769-6547.
