The Red Hot Seasons meets the fourth Monday of the
month. Our next meeting is Feb. 23, at 2 pm in the Ballroom.
New members are always welcome. Our organization has
only one rule – NO rules! Come visit us to see what it is all
about.

Guitar Club
The Guitar Club reconvened on Jan. 9 after a hiatus of
several months. It's great to be back! We have welcomed two
new guitarists to the club, Gerry Edmonds and Bob Vargo.
Gerry plays a Fender Telecaster and Bob plays an acoustic
guitar. We all welcome you! And to all of our returning club
members, it was so good to see all of you! Russ Brown, Hank
Callaghan, Hal Clark, Lois Cowan, Cynthia Ellingworth,
Orville Ellingworth, Bob Hagen, Jerry Hawkins, Sandy
Iannotti, Mike Murphy, Linda Negrete and Bud Piraino.
We will be focusing the first Friday of each month as
having some dedicated time for "Improving the Guitar".
Jerry Hawkins, our bass player will be providing some
useful instruction: "Knowing your guitar" and strumming
techniques, including introduction to chord structure and
scales. Bob Hagen is looking forward to teaching "Slack
Key" in the near future. The third Friday will be focused on
"improving your performance". Our meetings will be Feb. 6
and Feb. 20 at 10 am.
We are just "rebooting" and will hopefully be ready for some
performances in the coming months. Keep on Strummin'!
