MEMBERSHIP: Now that you are not so busy, join the wonderful Garden Club! We would love to have you as a member. The general meeting for February is Wed., Feb. 11 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. You may join at that meeting with a check payable to the Sun Lakes Garden Club for $15. FEBRUARY PROGRAM: We have featured many wonderful programs that help us with our gardens here in the Pass Area. Although we are not able to announce the February program due to time constraints, it will be one that you won't want to miss. TRIPS: Our trip guru, Evelyn Hawkins, is always looking for places of interest. Right now, on deck are: March 21 : A trip to the Colton Garden Festival. More information at the February general meeting. May 2: Idyllwild Lilac Walk, Tea, Art Show and Boutique. The cost is $55 each, inclusive. The Idyllwild Garden Club is the host of this lovely event and the art show is sponsored by the Art Association of Idyllwild. As this is the fifth year we have tripped to this event, it sells out fast. Get your reservation in quickly. It is always an enjoyable day. The bus departs at 9 am. Earliest check in time is 8 am. CHARITY: Please continue your generous donations of discarded cell phones, eye glasses, stuffed animals and small suitcases. Your donations are deeply appreciated by those that receive them. Please continue to bring these items to our monthly meetings as well as those unused hotel type soaps, shampoos and other toiletries. Those items are greatly needed. COMING EVENT: May 13 will bring the popular annual Spring Luncheon. SEE'S CANDIES: Thank you to those of you who supported the Garden Club See's Candy sales during the year. This is our only major fund raiser and you are appreciated. We always have the See's Gift Certificates available year round. FRUIT PICKERS: Our fruit pickers are always ready and eager to hear from you.
