We get together at the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room on the first, third (and fifth) Mondays at 1 pm. Share quilt designs, magazines, craft ideas, etc. Info., Lurline, 769-0575. Sun Lakes Quilters Happy New Year "Sew What" Members! This past year has been a very busy one for our group. Whether you came to the weekly gatherings or you worked from home your efforts are appreciated and it shows by the generous donations we were able to give this year to different charities. I wanted to list a few of the places that donations are given so you can see where all your hard work goes: The VA Hospital in Loma Linda (86 items), San Gorgonio Hospital (485 items), Kaiser Breast Care Center (44 items), Renu Hope Foundation (693 items), Children's Hospital in Orange County (4 items), Visiting Nurses Assoc. (68 items), The Lakes Alzheimer Center (20 items), P.A.S.S. (30 items), and Banning School District Independent Studies Program (an assortment of misc. items). These are the major ones with a few others that we support yearly. Our meetings are on Tuesdays from 12:45 to 2:30 pm and anyone interested in joining is welcome to come by and talk with Diane Vecchione at that time or give her a call at 769-1953. All donations of fabric, yarn, thread, etc. can be marked "Sew What" club and placed on the metal table in the arts and crafts room at the main clubhouse. Thank you to each and every one of you for your help in making these donations possible. We are blessed to be a blessing by sharing of our time and talents to help others with these gifts of love.
