8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2015 | COMMUNITY NEWS Manager's Update By Jeri Mupo, General Manager BUILDING UPDATE FORUM The first K. Hovnanian builder update forum was a great success. Questions included what the total build-out number will be (1,890) and when the bridge to finish Four Seasons Circle will be built (late 2017). Please submit questions by 12 pm on the Tuesday prior to the Board meeting so that questions can be researched. Question forms can be found online and at the Lodge. SPRINGDALE PAINTING PROJECT The Springdale painting began in early January. We will be painting the original color scheme on all buildings. Painting should be complete by early March. The Lodge interior is also getting a fresh coat of paint! We are doing our utmost to keep the inconvenience to a minimum and appreciate your patience with this project. UNDER CONSTRUCTION Recreation Center North (the former Sales Office) is still undergoing construction. It should be completed around the end of February. Thank you for your patience regarding the dust and noise. DOLLARS & SENSE At the Jan.8, Board of Directors meeting, the Board approved the following expenses: • Renewal of the Allied Barton contract = $107,628 • Renewal of the Bistro Lease = $4,800 POOL SHUTDOWN The pool at the Lodge is undergoing renovations during January and February. Please note that both the pool and spa pool will be closed during this time. The spa pool at the new Recreation Center will be opening soon for those brave souls who enjoy the spa pool during the cooler months. Happy Valentine's month Four Seasons! Come and get your heart warmed with the first multicultural Gospel Concert we've ever had here in the community, sponsored by the African American Culture Club and the Homeowner's Association. This event will be in the Lodge Ballroom on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 5:30 to 7 pm. There will be dancers, singers and lots of inspiration. Light refreshments will be served and there is no cost to attend. Don't forget to buy your tickets for the Ballroom Dance Club's Valentine Dinner Dance. This is on Feb. 14 at 4:30 pm and includes a live band and a delicious dinner. Tickets are only $25. Call Gary Stifter or Pam Duchesne for more info. My article is short and sweet this month (some of you are applauding, I know). But I can't let a February article go by without telling you all how privileged I feel to be able to work with so many amazing people in this community. You folks are my personal living valentines. For me as a single gal now, it's quite awesome to be able to say that my "hug bank" is always full, because so many of you go the extra mile to give me a big hug upon greeting or leaving. You really are like family to me and I'm so grateful to be able to spend so much time here with you. Thank you for being so thoughtful, so tender-hearted and so enriching to my life and the lives of so many. Have the best Valentine's Day ever! You make a big difference in this world, just by being you! Activities Director Corner By Cindy Graves, Activities Director
