COMMUNITY NEWS | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2015 | 53 Spring is in the air and with warmer temperatures come "honey do" lists of needed or anticipated home improvement projects and modifications. Please remember that our governing documents require that the Master Architectural Committee approve all proposed exterior architectural changes before any work is started (which include changes to landscape). Membership in a community association requires compliance to pre-existing conditions and regulations. One of the biggest advantages of these conditions is the protection of our property values. The value of your home is directly related to the condition, appearances and aesthetics of our community as a whole. By regulating the kind and types of architectural changes that can be done, our Association is able to maintain property values. If you have any questions or need assistance in how to start in obtaining the approval for your next project, we are here to help you. Please do not hesitate to contact the Planning and Compliance Department and we will be happy to assist you. ~ Heather Killian CCAM, Planning and Compliance Manager Planning & Compliance News Winter Watering It is the Operations Department's priority to maintain the pristine appearance of our community. We'll be repairing and freshly painting all of the perimeter common stucco walls throughout the Association, beginning in March. Our contractors will begin by trimming back foliage from the walls and power washing to expose any repair needed. Then, a fresh coat of paint in the existing color scheme will be applied. Contractors will be on site working from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. The areas scheduled for repair and painting are: • District #18 & #19 perimeter walls • Highland Springs Ave. • Sun Lakes Blvd. • Copper Creek Dr., perimeter walls • Country Club Dr., between St. Andrews Way & La Costa Dr. • Country Club Dr., between Savannah Dr. & Olympic Ave. • Perimeter, Country Club Dr. & Riviera Ave. • Between Bardmoor Ave. & Turnberry Dr. • Recreational Vehicle Storage Lot If your home is attached to a wall, or near any of the listed areas to be painted, please remember to keep your windows closed while the preparation and painting is being done. We thank you for your cooperation during this process. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Operations Department at 769-6644. ~ The Operations Department
