6 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2015 | COMMUNITY NEWS Sun Lakes Country Club staff would like to accommodate any RV owner, who has their RV parked in the on site RV storage area, who are not able to bring their RV through the Transponder Exchange line. We understand it can be hard to maneuver larger vehicles through the Main Clubhouse Parking Lot. The Sun Lakes Country Club staff will be on-site at the RV Storage Area on Fri., March 20 and Fri., April 17 from 8:30 to 11:30 am both days. We are scheduling owners in increments of ten minutes so that no one has to wait in a large line. Staff will meet each owner at the RV assigned spot to exchange the transponders. Please have your "Resident Information Form" completely filled out and ready to turn into staff. Please call Ann Kato at 769-6644 to schedule a time frame. We would like your name, RV spot number, contact phone number, and the time you would like to meet us on either one of the days listed above. Please bring your new Resident Information Form with you (filled out completely) when you come to exchange your old transponder for the new Sirit Headlamp Tag on your assigned month (see below). If you have lost your form, we will have extra forms available. We would like to notify the community that we WILL NOT be conducting the transponder exchange on rainy days. The new Sirit Headlamp tags need to be applied to a dry surface, and we do not have the accommodations to make this happen. So, if it is raining on the day you were going to b r i n g your vehicle in, please come on a different day. Management has developed a schedule for residents to be able to exchange their transponders for the new headlamp stickers. The exchange will be completed, by specified districts, at the Administration office, Monday – Friday 8 am to 12 pm* as indicated on the schedule below: Month Districts March 2 – 31. . .. . .. . .. . 7, 8, 9 April 1 – 30 .. . .. . .. . .. . 10, 11, 12 May 1 – 29 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 13, 14, 15 (Offices closed May 25 for Memorial Day) June 1 – 30 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 16, 17, 18 July 1 – 31 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 19, 20, 21 Aug. 3 – 31 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 22, 23 *Note: For residents unavailable during this time, please call the administration office to schedule an appointment. To keep all residents of a district from arriving on the same day, we would propose to have the following schedule: Week #1 in each month: Last name A-F Week #2 in each month: Last name G-L Week #3 in each month: Last name M-R Week #4 in each month: Last name S-Z If a resident arrives on their assigned month, on a week other than the one assigned, they will still be accommodated. If a resident is out of town during their assigned month, please come the following month. Please keep in mind that both the new and old vehicle access devices (transponders) will work on the new system. Residents that are not scheduled until later in the year will have no problem accessing the community. The old transponders will be deactivated on Dec. 31, so please ensure that you have switched your old device before that time. If, at any time, you have problems with the new or old transponder, please contact the administration receptionist. 2015 Transponder Exchange Volunteers Needed: We need volunteers in March for the Transponder Exchange. We are asking for two volunteers each day, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 12 pm in the Administration Parking Lot. We would be asking volunteers to collect the Resident Information Forms and verify the information. We have staff also on site to remove the old transponders and adhere the new headlamp tags. This job requires standing, off and on, for the four hours in the designated parking lot area. If you are available to assist, please call Charlye Sessner at 769-6648. Attn. RV Owners
