Call us today! 10 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2015 Place salmon fillet in a 9-by-13-inch glass baking dish. Pour bourbon in a small bowl, add brown sugar, and stir until brown sugar dissolves. Add soy sauce, garlic, scallions, and sesame oil and stir to combine. Pour bourbon marinade over salmon. Pick up salmon with a fork to let some of the marinade run under it. Place on a rack in the center of the oven; turn on heat to 400º. Remove after 25 minutes. Bourbon & Brown Sugar Salmon IngredIentS 1 skinless salmon fillet (2 to 3 lb.) ½ cup bourbon ½ cup packed light brown sugar 2 Tbsp. soy sauce 3 cloves garlic, minced ½ cup chopped scallions, green parts only 2 tsp. dark sesame oil Cooked rice dIrectIonS The sweet, tasty flavor of this bourbon and brown sugar marinade provides an excellent accent to a great salmon dinner. This one came out tender, moist and flaky using a unique cooking method. My daughter recommended I cook the salmon using Pioneer Woman's "perfect salmon every time" cooking method. You simply put it in a cold oven, turn it on to 400 degrees and wait twenty-five minutes. The salmon was absolutely perfect. Serves 6-8 • Prep time 10 min. • Cook time 25 min.
