Nothing beats strength training or resistance exercises,
for building and preserving muscle. That's why the CDC
recommends that all adults do strength training at least
twice a week.
That should include 8 to 12 repetitions of exercise that
work all the major muscle groups: legs, hips, back, abdomen,
chest, shoulders and arms. And the exercise should be done
to the point where it's hard to do more without help.
If you don't strength train now, please join the SASY team.
This is a fun and social group. We find this time together,
not only good for keeping us fit, but we really do enjoy the
special friendships. It's FREE too!
Join us in the Lodge Ballroom at 7:30 am every Tuesday
and Thursday.
