| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | March 2015 | 6 WE NEED A FEW GOOD MEMBERS! The Annual Membership Meeting will be held next month on Wed., April 22. This year, there are three positions up for re-election. In mid-February, a Notice of Election and Request for Candidates form was mailed out to all owners of record, both electronically and via first class mail. The Notice of Election contains election information and frequently asked questions. Also attached was a Request for Candidates form for anyone interested in volunteering to run for the board. All owners in good standing are eligible to vote. In the February Hemet Herald, on pages three and five, the President's and my message mention some recommendations for those thinking about running for a seat on the board. MEEt thE CANDiDAtES NiGht If we receive more Candidate Forms than the three positions open for election, a Meet the Candidates night will be scheduled for Thurs., March 19. This is a good opportunity for owners to hear the views of the candidates which should be helpful in making your selection of who you will vote for. Beginning around March 19 through 23, the Annual Meeting Notice and ballots will be sent to all owners via first class mail. It is very important that you exercise your rights as an owner and vote! If you have any questions, please stop by the Lodge. My Assistant General Manager Mari Salazar or I will be happy to answer your questions. I cannot stress how important this vote is to the homeowners association, so please vote! Also, be sure and sign the top left corner of the green envelope. It was brought to my attention that there are vehicles traveling through the Legends' alleyways above the posted 15 mph speed limit. Here's a point to ponder… almost every resident who exits their garage has to back out. That means almost six to nine feet of vehicle is sticking out of the garage before the driver has a chance to see anyone coming. It's not easy for some of our more senior residents to be craning their necks each direction to see if a vehicle is coming. What do you do? Answer: If you are driving down the alleyway and you see a vehicle start to exit a garage, please stop! Let them exit safely and then proceed to your destination. Please drive safely no matter where you are, whether it's in our community, or in town. Have a nice St. Patrick's Day! A Message From Your General Manager By Rick Ruth, CCAM Marines from 29 Palms present plaque to Four Seasons Hemet in appreciation for the "Treats for Marines" Thank You
