First, be aware that the Independent Film Festival has been moved to Friday, April 10 instead of April 3. There was an event conflict with the first day of Passover and Good Friday both being on April 3. The times of the judging and first viewing will remain the same on Friday, April 10 at 3:30 pm in the Movie Theater and the final viewing and awards ceremony will take place at 6 pm in the Ballroom. Feel free to bring your dinner in while you watch. Liars Trivia Night is going to be another fun one you won't want to miss. This is another free of charge evening taking place in the Ballroom on Friday, April 17 at 6 pm. Come and watch some of our more talented wordsmiths as they try to fool the audience as to the accuracy of various choice words and definitions. Folks can play for prizes at the end of the night. Don't feel like you have to know everyone at your table to play. It's also a fun way to get to know your neighbors. This is a night to laugh about. You may also bring your dinners and favorite beverages to this event. The Four Seasons HOA Garage Sale will be taking place on Saturday, April 25. This is always a great time to find hidden treasures and the greatest of deals! If you would like to participate in having your own garage sale this year, the last day to sign up is Monday, April 20. Don't forget that you'll be coming into the Lodge to pick up your city permits on Friday, April 24. You'll want them on your premises in case the City Code Enforcement Officer comes around to verify you have one. Everyone is welcome to get a garage sale map on the morning of the event, either at the Portrero guard house or at the Lodge desk. I want to extend a big open-armed thank you to all those amazing community servants; BOD members, delegates, committee chairs and members as well as all those who contribute so much to the entertainment and well-being of the residents here. More hours than you could ever imagine go into the governing and enriching of this great community. What a fabulous neighborhood this is, thanks to so many of you. Please pat those that you know who work so tirelessly on your behalf on the back, and let them feel your appreciation. Regarding those that enrich us with entertainment… please don't forget the courtesy laugh! It's good for all of us! See you around the Lodge.
