As I write this, I am recovering from hip replacement surgery.
But, our next show is in June, so don't fear, I will be flying around
the Ballroom or on stage by then. We are currently looking for
material and will make a decision at our next meeting this
month. We will let you know what we will be doing in the May
issue. In September, we plan on doing a mystery dinner theatre
and have reserved two show times. One will be on Saturday
night, as usual, and the other will be a Sunday matinee. If we
sell out, we can do another show on Sunday provided we have a
minimum of 50 who want to attend. Sunday show time will not
be sold until Saturday is sold out, which is 120 people. Please
note this is our plan, but it could change as the time gets closer.
We will keep you all posted.
We need another technical person. This person would work
with Don Ortega and Ross Brunetto in set up and tear down
and help with putting up the stage, and the set if necessary.
If you are more technically oriented, you may even learn our
equipment, both sound and effects, so that we have better
coverage if someone gets sick. If you are interested please
contact Don or Ross… they are in the Four Seasons phone
book.
So until next time, this is Emilie Ortega saying, take care and
I hope to see you around the Lodge.
