Greetings. Upon receipt of this, your April 2015 issue of our community magazine, the Hemet Herald, we will find ourselves well into the annual Board of Directors election process. This year, three places need occupants. Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Wed., April 22 and assuming that the required quorum will be met, the ballots will be counted and the results announced. If the quorum is not met, the meeting will be adjourned. The election process will be extended and rescheduled for a new date. This will cause our association additional, unnecessary expense. To refresh your memory, the aforementioned quorum means that 50 percent plus one of our homeowners in good standing must have cast their ballots. You do not have to be in attendance at this meeting, but your ballot does! These ballots were mailed to you during the latter part of March. Included with your ballot are the instructions on how to complete it. If you are unsure of the process, please feel free to discuss this important matter with our General Manager, Rick or Assistant General Manager, Mari. In the course of the year, you receive many notifications of the happenings within our community. The majority of these are invites to social or recreational events. You can participate, or not. In the case of the election ballot, it is the one time that we need our homeowners to participate and exercise our collective responsibility to vote. If you haven't already done so, this important act will only take a few minutes of your time. (1) Read the instructions. (2) Indicate your vote preference on the ballot. (3) Place it inside the white envelope and seal it. (4) Place the white envelope in the green (postage paid envelope) and seal it. (5) Sign the green envelope on the upper left hand corner. (6) Deposit it in the mail box, or deliver it in person to the Ballot Box at the front desk in our Lodge. Done and thank you! Sincerely, and on behalf of your Board, Tony, Greg, Ken & Russ Hal Townend, President Hal Townend, President | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2015 | 4 Message From the Board of Directors FOUR SEASONS HEMET BOARD OF DIRECTORS: HAL TOWNEND, PRESIDENT • TONY CRISCENTI, VICE PRESIDENT • KEN POUNDERS, TREASURER GREG ROCKVAM, SECRETARY • RUSS BROWN, DIRECTOR
