7 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2015 | By Louise Ceccarelli Hello! First thing — I want to thank all who attended the "Taste of Elegance" event for charity. (I will have some photos to share in the May issue.) Thank you for your support of these three charities. I will have a report for you next month on the exact monies raised. I want to say a HUGE thank you to the group of ladies who started this event with me… Margie Culton, Connie Bunge, Donna McLaughlin, and Karen Hikel. Then there is the group of ladies who asked "what can we do to help?"— Joan Wolfe, Esther Feigenbaum, Maxine Schilla, Patty Jones, and Jackie Peterson. As with every function, there is a group of people behind the scenes who get things set up, cleaned up, and keep it running in between. Thank you to those folks as well! Speaking of volunteers, we have already started working on plans for the car show in October. We have chosen a theme for this years show — "Car-toberfest." Who doesn't like Oktoberfest? We will have more information for you as the time goes by. If you are interested in working with this group of volunteers on the car show and street fair, please email or call me with your name and email address. The next Music on the Plaza is a group who came highly recommended by many of our residents. You do not want to miss "BIG TRUTH, Little Lies" band on April 21. Remember, they will be playing for three hours, instead of the regular two. Come prepared to dance your shoes off and have fun! Tickets are available right up 'til the concert starts. Thanks for your support… and see you around the Lodge!. A Note from the Activities Director
