MAY 2: KENTUCKY DERBY: Saddle up and get ready for
a fun day at the races. The gates open at 2:30 pm in the North
Clubhouse. The Run for the Roses (the main Derby race) takes
place at 3 pm and can be viewed on our new big screen TV.
There will be other races to watch after the big event, as well as a
delicious catered (Thomas Catering) dinner beginning at 5 pm.
We will have a 50/50 drawing and a Derby Hat Contest. Prizes will be
awarded for the Most Original, the Funniest and the Prettiest hats. The
cost is $15 pp, which includes a Mint Julep and dinner. BYOB. Checks
are to be made payable to YAH and dropped off at Michele Walter's
4713 Skyview Circle by April 24.
JULY 9: DUFFY BOATS: Back by popular demand! If you
haven't experienced this activity, be prepared for a fun day on the
water at Newport Beach. Cost is $55 pp that includes bus
transportation, boat ride and dinner at the Elks Club. Drinks
at the Elks Club are on your own. Bring your own beer, wine or
soda for the boat ride. This trip is on a first come, first serve basis
and is limited to a maximum 56 persons. (YAH members only).

regarding times in our next issue.
We are looking for people interested in organizing a movie night at
the North Clubhouse for an activity. If this is something you might be
interested in doing, give Michele Walter a call at 202-8009.
We will be dark for the month of June as there are no activities
planned.
