We get together at the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room on the first, third (and fifth) Mondays at 1 pm. Share quilt designs, magazines, craft ideas, etc. Info., Lurline, 769-0575. Sun Lakes Quilters After many months of being unable to use our normal sewing area in the Arts and Crafts Room, we enjoyed getting back into the old routine and meeting time. As of Tues., April 7, we started meeting once again from 12:45 to 2:30 pm. If you are new to Sun Lakes or just wanting to try something new in your life, we would love to see you and show you projects we work on during the year. Many projects can be worked on at home. While we were displaced for a few months you were unable to drop off your contributions of material, yarn, thread and other items that we might be able to use. Now that we are once again in our normal meeting spot you can start bringing your donations. Just leave them on the metal top table on or before our Tuesday meetings. We will sort through everything and pass whatever we cannot utilize to the local high school. If you have anything to donate to the club and are unable to drop them by on Tuesdays, you can call Diane at 769-1953 or Gail at 797-3589 to make arrangements to have the items picked up. Thanks again to all the ladies who come each week or sew items at home or deliver items to various locations. All are important jobs and your help is appreciated. Sew What? Club WHAT? Knitters & Fiber Artists Come write with us if you have always wanted to write a memoir, love letter, poem or note to a friend. Please bring your pen, paper and story to our group. Last year, one of our writers published her first book after she started writing in our group. Our writers self-published a 200 page book two years ago. We enjoy each other's writing and will assist you while having fun. Two monthly meetings are in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room on the first Monday of each month from 3 to 5 pm and the third Wednesday in the North Clubhouse from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
