25 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | June 2015 | "Walking is a miraculous thing. We tend to take it for granted… This is exactly what we should be doing. We humans are designed to walk – and walk a lot." ~ Leslie Sansone Aerobic walking is what we do. The class consists of seven different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. The easy-to-follow routines are set to music with varied tempo. No memorization of routines is required. Three of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands. Light hand weights and resistance bands are optional. Tailor the class to your own level of activity. The full one hour class is a four mile walk. Leave early or arrive later to shorten your walk. If you can't make it three days a week, that's okay too. New members are always welcome, both men and women, and the class is free. We meet Mon., Wed. and Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in the Lodge Ballroom For more information contact Karen Tuvim at 599-4236 or Kay Masonbrink at 223-3047. "Walk-Fit" Exercise Club Just loosening up to tell you about the apples, pears and hourglasses meetings. Our program focuses on that all important support along with other aspects of good health practices. We feel that sharing our triumphs and struggles with health concerns while making good choices, helps to encourage each other to never give up! Please join us every Wednesday at 9 am in the Multipurpose Room to learn more about our program. If you have questions about apples, pears and hourglasses, please contact Dave or Karen Tuvim, 599-4236. Apples, Pears & Hourglasses Bocce Bocce was invited on May 15 to attend a TGIF in our honor. We had lots of fun demonstrating a quick game of bocce. Our hosts were very kind and hopefully we can continue to support the TGIF folks by attending more Friday get togethers. This year we would like to increase our membership so soon we will begin posting the dates when sign ups will take place for this season. We will give you the specific time on a later article but for now please mark your calander for Sunday, Aug. 16 in the Ballroom. We have some new ideas which the committee believes will energize players with fun rewards. We think you will like our ideas so tell your team mates to get prepared to win this year. If you have never played before, come join the 100 plus players and enjoy the outdoors, attend pot lucks and get to meet folks throughout our wonderful community.
