Don't Build it, Install it or Start it Before ARC approval… Some contractors are telling owners that it's okay for them to start
work on a patio cover, solar installation or other projects, before you submit plans to the ARC. This is a NO NO.
Also if a contractor or installer tells you they will obtain a city permit for your project, make sure you see a copy of it, before they
start. An owner was fined by the city for failure to obtain a permit that the contractor said they would get.
Water, Water, Water or NO WATER… Many of you are resetting your outside water controllers to water your lawn only two
times a week at two minutes then two more minutes an hour later.
Thank you, you just saved over 1500 gallons of water.
EMDW Board of Directors ask for 50 percent cut… The EMWD (our water provider) Board of Directors on May 8, ordered
a 50 percent reduction in outside watering use. This will affect how we water our lawns and plants.
If you have not adjusted your outside water controller to fewer days and shorter time intervals do it now. If you don't know how
to adjust it or have trouble adjusting it, call us. A member of the ARC will be happy to assist you.
