At our April meeting, the financial statements for February
2015 were reviewed and reflected the following significant
items: Net Income Year-to-Date was $22,416 and total reserves
were $4,730,495. The Accounts Receivable (delinquencies)
were $50,682. Our total HOA expenses for March (excluding
reserve allocations) were $220,706. This was under budget by
$52,192. The Front Yard Cost Center expenses for March 2015
were under the monthly budget by $1,150. The Springdale Cost
Center expenses for March 2015 were under the monthly budget
by $56. Jeri Mupo gave an update regarding the ongoing search
for a way to reduce the telephone expenses. Jeri contacted
Verizon to determine a cost to tag HOA phone lines. The Verizon
representative advised that it would be cheaper to handle the job
in-house using a plug in phone. Jeri will report next month on
the outcome. The new Investment Policy was approved by the
BOD. We voted to adopt the new policy. The Chairman noted
that all current members of our committee had agreed to serve
again for the next year. There were two CD renewals reviewed
and recommendations forwarded to the BOD. There were 13
vendor proposals presented and recommendations forwarded
to the BOD. A report on the Accounts Receivable was given by
Wayne Staples indicating past due totals remain negligible and
recovery actions continue. Our next meeting is June 30, at 1 pm
