Recreation Director Message Now that the warm summer months are here, I would like to remind you while you are basking out in the sun, to make sure that you apply sunscreen. The sun emits UVB rays which are very harmful to our skin and can cause cancer. To avoid this please make sure you apply sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or greater 30 minutes prior to being outside to allow the ingredients to fully bind with the skin. Along with this, reapply sunscreen every two hours while you are outside and immediately after you get out of the pool even if the sunscreen says it is waterproof. Following these guidelines will lead to enjoying a skin safe summer outdoors. For more information please contact the Recreation desk at 845-2191
