SOCIAL CLUBS & GROUPS | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2015 | 29 All Sun Lakes quilters are welcome to join us at our Monday meetings. We get together at the Main Clubhouse Arts & Crafts Room on the first, third (and fifth) Mondays at 1 pm. Share quilt designs, magazines, craft ideas, etc. Info., Lurline, 769-0575. Sun Lakes Quilters Oh my! Thanks to the many of you who crochet and knit we have emptied two binds of yarn. If you are cleaning out consider giving all your left over yarn to our group. If you see a good sale keep your eyes open for red, white and blue yarn for lap robes for veterans given to the VA hospital and all dark and/or multi-colors for helmet liners. Any colors are appreciated. We do have one bin full of baby yarn for anyone who would be willing to crochet or knit baby blankets, baby hats and booties. You can leave your donations in the Arts and Crafts Room on the long metal table any day of the week and we will sort out at our meetings each Tuesday from 12:45 to 2:30 pm. All of the items we make are given away to hospitals, children's day care, and other places in need. You can be sure your donation is put to good use. Stop by and say hi sometime and join in as there is no charge to be a part of this group, just your interest in giving of your talents. Has someone said they like your writing? Maybe more people could enjoy your work? Our group of writers create fiction/nonfiction, poems, biographies, short stories, novels, comedy, you name it. We enjoy sharing our work and will assist you while having fun. One monthly meeting is in the Main Clubhouse, Multipurpose Room, on the first Monday of the month from 3 to 5 pm, and the second and third Wednesday of the month in the North Clubhouse from 12:30 to 2:20 pm.
