Last Get the Joke Last month's joke was the last one for a while. It was in the classifieds and was an ad for a solar powered dog. With the way technology is advancing, I wouldn't be surprised. For the next few months we're bringing back a contest we first did 11 years ago. You need to identify the address where this month's yard oddity is shown (in the picture to the right below). When you find it, fill out the box below and turn it into the Main Clubhouse reception desk before noon on the sixth of the month. If you are the first correct guess chosen at random, you will win a free dinner. Good luck! As always, keep the great photos coming. And remember to take your camera to Sun Lakes' events - but make sure you take pictures of people who aren't in the Witness Protection Program. Don't forget photo assignment on page 60. Send any photos of Sun Lakes to sunlakesnews@ yahoo.com. Congratulations to this month's Dinner Winner: HELENE KASSMAN Please see Debbie Sorrows for your Sun Lakes Restaurant dinner for two. Resident name (first & last): ______________________________ Mystery Address: _____________________________________ Comments (we LOVE your notes - about anything!): _____________ __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ I found the mystery address! COMMUNITY CONTEST | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2015 | 55 Our dog eats our leftovers and we are robots. Stay dog! Norris C. (hope you are solar powered!) Just the kind of dog we would like. Betty M. (sure would save on food!) Now this is the kind of pet I can afford. Joe S. (We'll sign you up, Joe) My kind of dog. No poop! Joy B. (Perfect!) No dog food needed. And best of all, no pooper-scooper. Joanne B. (Nothing in, nothing out, right?) Maybe the new owner could send their new dog out for a walk on a Segway. On a leash of course. Charlie F. (Good thinking!) You wouldn't need a plastic bag to walk him. Solar! What a good idea! Linda A. (maybe he could pull you in a wagon!) Our kind of pet and green to boot! Janice E. (And he could actually BE green!) Feeds off sunlight? He would have starved this month and in April due to so much rain! Patricia S. (let's hope June gloom passes us by this year) Could this be adjacent to the dog park? Include dog races too? Marylou L. (keep dreaming…) No dog food and no vet bills. Wow! Judy K. (The best!) What does the dog do when the sun is not out? Lie down and die? Ruth A. (maybe that's when he poops) I'd like to mate him with my female Irish Setter. No marriage license needed. Jeanne M. (Now that's a mutt Jeanne!) Maybe a dog like this will help stop climate change. Jerry B. (good thinking Jerry) Can Max teach our old dog to feed off sunlight? Barb S. (maybe we can rent him out) your comments: OUR ADVERTISERS ARE Remember, the production of Lifestyles (and the reason it's free to homeowners) is due ENTIRELY to the generous support of our advertisers. Please thank them by visiting their place of business or calling them first whenever you need their service or product. THE BEST! Where in Sun Lakes will you find this fishy ornament? When you spot it, jot down the address and turn it in to the Main Clubhouse before the sixth of the month!
