Mango was very entertaining. Just listening to his conversation keeps you wondering what he will say next. Gallegar's favorite thing to say is "time for bed." We were all surprised that there are so many breeds of cockatoos. If you've been following the story of Buddy and Molly abandoned at Renaissance for several months. I have good news! Molly was adopted on May 27 by Vickey Rosser, daughter of Pat and Ken Malberg in Sun Lakes. Happy tail wagging ending! Have a great summer. L-R: Molly with her new owner Vickey Rosser; Gail with Gallegar on her shoulder; Mango on his cage Are you making any home improvements this summer? As required in the Sun Lakes Governing Documents, all exterior modifications including painting, landscaping, and any exterior changes must be submitted for approval in advance. If you are unfamiliar with this process, be assured that the Planning and Compliance Department is here to assist you every step of the way! Here is what you need to do: The first step is to submit a completed application with all samples and measurements as needed. Applications can be obtained in the Administrative office, on the web site, or by email if requested. The second step is the application is reviewed by the Master Architectural Committee. If approved, you will receive a copy of your application signed by the committee with a yellow permit card. If the application is denied you will receive a denial letter. The yellow permit card should be placed in a front, street-facing window to show that the work has been approved. Once the work is completed, the yellow card must be turned into the Planning and Compliance Department upon which an inspection is performed to ensure the modifications were completed as approved. ~ Heather Killian CCAM, Planning and Compliance Manager Home Improvement Steps
