I know I wrote about it last Breeze issue and there has been tons of advertisement, but I wanted to reassure you that if you didn't have time to come and sign-up at the Lodge to RSVP, you are still welcome to join us. The in-house club competitions begin at 7 am and go until noon, when our giant community potluck begins. Please bring a dish to share. The HOA will be providing drinks, tableware, plates and cups as well as filling in food items which might be lacking. There will be an Awards Ceremony at 1 pm followed by a heartwarming choral performance by the Four Seasons Singers and concluded by a historical reenactment of Patrick Henry and Betsy Ross. What a great way for some fun and frolicking with your neighbors. The Lodge will be closed at 7 pm but the Summit will remain open until 10 pm. Karaoke will take place on Saturday, July 11 at 5:30 pm and is always a great chance to indulge in a favorite beverage while watching a free show or while being a singing star in the show. As usual this entertainment is at no cost to you. I'd like to give you a heads-up regarding a show that Social Committee will be sponsoring in the Ballroom on Aug. 8 at 6:30 pm called "Side By Side by the Divas Divine." It has been said that this show, "is full of fun, comic exchange and passionate songs to satisfy any musical palette. Like an eight course meal paired with the finest wine, Debbie and Joanne bring you a musical experience unlike any other, bursting with fun, seasoned with experience and presented with pride". It was a big hit when presented at a local Beaumont theater and now tickets are only $15 each. The seating is non-assigned theater seating and tickets are available now at the Lodge desk. I have no doubt that this too will be a sold out show. Please be aware that dinners should be eaten in the Bistro or Loggia before the show since food will not be allowed in the Ballroom for this showing. Don't forget to join me at the Amphitheater on Sunday, July 19 for a wonderful concert under the summer stars (see their article on page 35 for more information) and then get on your dancing shoes at the end of the month (July 25 at 4:30 pm) for the Ballroom Dance Club's Summertime Dinner Dance and then the free Country Music Sock Hop also at 4:30 pm on July 31.
