It's summertime: time for some fun, and time for our Summer Fun Dinner Dance on Sat., July 25, at 4:30 pm in our Ballroom. We'll have a full dinner, the ever-popular Sklyline Xpress band and a good variety of music for your dancing pleasure. Take an evening off. Make a date. Have some fun. Enjoy some good music and kick up your heels a bit. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends. In case you didn't know, we are very fortunate to have exceptionally good, professional dance instructors who give lessons every Monday night right here in our own Ballroom. And if you've priced dance lessons lately, you'll find their fees to be extremely reasonable. How convenient can it get? From time to time we review all our dances, and this will happen again on July 13 and 20. So come and refresh your dance steps and get ready for our Summer Fun Dinner Dance. Contacts are Puring and Gary Stifter at (951) 922-8333, or at purings@verizon.net. ~ Willis Fagan Ballroom & Social Dance The advanced Line Dance class is really improving. We will be performing in the Aug. 14 free fun evening of PG 55+ acts. You will really enjoy the show and it will put a smile on your face that should last for days. Exciting news: we will be hosting a free County Music Sock Hop in the Ballroom Friday, July 31, from 5 to 8:30 pm. Bring your favorite beverage, order dinner from Smitty's, and dance to some of your favorite country songs. Or just come to listen, visit with friends and enjoy the music. Line dancing is fun exercise and does not require you to control someone or be controlled by another person. The new dancers in the June very beginners class had so much fun learning basic steps that most are advancing to the 3 pm class with ease. They just needed to learn one step at a time. The important part is coming out and having fun. Hope to see you on Tuesdays at our normal beginners 3 pm class in the Ballroom at the Lodge and at 3:45 pm for the advanced class. ~ Martha Franck 30 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2015 Do you enjoy dancing?
