The majority of our group went out for lunch in June to Hawk's Head Inn at Riley's Farm. It was very enjoyable, excellent food, atmosphere, and wonderful company. If you would like to join us on future luncheons, come learn a new hobby and meet new people. We meet every Tuesday from 10 to about 11:30 am. We are very willing to teach, and have materials to practice with while you learn. ~ Dorothy Payne 32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2015 Ceramic Corner Craft Group Last month some of our classmates created a variety of beautiful "lace like design" teapots, cups, plates and trinket boxes for sale at the fashion show. Our residents were able to buy hand crafted pieces to adorn their home. We also had a full list of residents who signed up for our July "Cup and Saucer" class. Our deepest appreciation to our classmates who supported this endeavor and volunteered their time, to make this event successful. Please drop by the Craft Room to see our monthly schedule and learn more about additional class projects and technique training sessions. Come and join in the fun, we meet twice a week in the Craft room on Wednesdays, 1-4 pm and Saturdays, 10-2 pm. Certified instructor and/ or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs, participation is at your own pace and frequency. See you there. The next process is to have the top quilted by a long-armer, which we are waiting for. Once this process is completed we will then be in touch with the veterans office locally. So come on down and get involved in quilting! Any comments contact Kathy Spallino, 760 217-8684. ~ Kathy Spallino Would you like to learn Spanish? Or improve your knowledge of the language?
