The club is for persons of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will feature various topics and speakers. This is a great way to share information and learn some of the ways in becoming an effective computer user. We are dark in August. Our next meeting will be Sept. 17 at 1 pm in the Multipurpose Room. Membership dues are $20 dollars per year per household. Guests are welcome. At the meetings we raffle to a lucky member a gift card. Do you write short stories just for fun? Has someone said they like your writing? Maybe more people could enjoy your work? Our group of writers create fiction/nonfiction, stories novels, comedy, you name it. We meet the first Monday of each month in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room between 3 and 5 pm. Our second meeting is in the North Clubhouse on the Third Wednesday of each month between 12:30 and 2:30 pm. Info., Roger Smith, 769-2808. Creative Writers We meet at 7 pm on the first Monday of every month in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. But don't come during July and August since we won't be there. During July and August the group will be on hiatus. This does not mean you should not be taking photographs. If you attended the June BBQ you would have been given a scavenger hunt challenge for the summer. These photos can be brought to the September meeting on a CD or thumb drive for showing on the big screen. More details on the September meeting will be found in the September issue of Lifestyles. PHOTO NOTES: When the temperature reaches over 110 degrees your camera may melt. Pack your camera in ice and perform mouth to mouth. Don't let your camera swim alone, use the buddy system. When photographing in a tropical climate your subject might appear blurry. This might actually be sweat dripping into your eyes. If you follow these rules you may need a new camera since these rules are all made up. Happy photos, see you in September. Meditation, an integral part of proceeding on a path of Self (God) – Realization, promises to do just that. When the mind with its myriad thoughts becomes quiet and still, we can feel what lies beyond. The Pure, Non-Dual (only ONE) Consciousness lies beyond and is our True Eternal Being. Satsang (group meeting with a spiritual aim) begins with a 15 min. meditation followed by a discourse, the subject of which is given below. A short video clip is also presented by a teacher adhering to the same teaching of Non-Duality.
