Our next dance will be on Sept. 3. Come listen and dance to a great group. Single gals get a table and make your evening special. There will be a hors d'oeuvre menu on each table to request food service. Doors open at 5:30 pm, music at 6 pm. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for guests. Doors to the Main Clubhouse Ballroom open at 5:30 pm on the second Thursday evening of the month. Music by the sophisticats for dancing and listening pleasure starts at 6 pm and the buffet dinner starts at 6:30 pm by table call, and should be over by 7:30 pm. You will find Swedish meatballs with egg noodles, basa fish, carrots and green beans on the buffet tables, which there are two. The dinner salad of lettuce, tomatoes, grated carrots and ranch and Italian dressings will be table pre-set along with rolls and butter. A dessert of Swedish apple pie is also table served along with coffee and water. Iced tea can be found on a sideboard. You can sign up for this dinner dance on the first Thursday afternoon in August at 3 pm in the North Clubhouse, $22 for a member, $25 dollars for a non-resident guest. International Culture Club If you have already purchased tickets for our upcoming Festival of Dances and International Fashion Show, we thank you for your support. Our show last year sold out quickly, and telephone inquiries continued long after sales ended. Therefore, in order to accommodate all who would like to attend, this year we have added a second performance. The show is Sat., Aug. 15 at 7 pm and Sun., Aug. 16 at 3 pm. Tickets are $10. If you would like to attend but do not have tickets, please call Sussy at 797-3258 to find out if there are tickets still available. We would love to see you there. International Dancers Sheila and Larry James generously offered to entertain during the month of June. They performed a variety of solos by each, and duets together beginning with Sheila singing Orange Colored Sky. They ended their program with a beautiful solo by Sheila James dedicated to Betty Enns, Over The Rainbow. Our members were delighted with the program and all appreciated the tribute to Betty. We meet the second Saturday of the month at 3 pm at the South Clubhouse.
