Doors open at 5:30 pm. "Take me out to the ballgame, buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks, I don't care if I never come back." Did you ever wonder what it was like in Banning before you got here? Have your questions answered by former mayor and history buff, Don Robinson. His presentation will be very interesting and informative. Russo's will be serving a fantastic BBQ dinner, including tri-tip sandwiches, a variety of salads and a dessert platter! All this for $13 pp! Guests are $15. If you live in Sun Lakes, you may come as a guest one time only, and then you must join the club for $10 for the year. Guests living outside of Sun Lakes and are friends of a resident are welcome at $15 pp. We can only accommodate 104 people in the South Clubhouse for our dinner meetings, so your attendance will be on a first come first serve basis. Make checks payable to Social Singles and drop your checks off at Betty McMillion's home, 5549 Pinehurst Dr., 769-6636. Those who want to sit together should put their checks in one envelope. Reservations must be in the FRIDAY BEFORE the dinner so we may give the caterers a count. If we have a wait list Betty will replace you and return your money as long as the cancellation is received the FRIDAY BEFORE the dinner.
