Sun Lakes
Quilters
As I worked on sewing quilting squares together for my church
quilting group I realized how grateful I was that my mother had
taught me to sew plus, having Home Ec (does anyone remember
that?) in high school. We all have talents to share and I am glad
to be able to give back to our community with my sewing abilities.
We are blessed with so much and giving back, whether it be with
our time or talents or finances, it is our honor to do so at this time
in our lives. We have had donations coming in and want to say a
big thank you for them. If you are new to Sun Lakes and have an
interest in using your sewing talents or have items to donate, stop
by and see us sometime between 12:45 and 2:30 on Tuesdays in the
Arts and Crafts Room. We would love to share with you what we do.
There is no charge to be a part of our group and it is always open to
new people who like donating to local organizations. Contact Diane
at 769-1953 or Gail at 797-3589 if you have any questions or need
items picked up.
