Yucaipa Photo Contest Results
Yucaipa really is beautiful, isn't it? Recently on the Front Porch Yucaipa's Facebook page, someone
lamented how run down and ugly the drive is into town from the I-10 Freeway on Yucaipa Blvd. Some
agreed, some disagreed. I thought, "Good! It's like a disguise. I don't want anyone from out of town to
know how amazing Yucaipa is."
But we know, don't we? And we have the pictures to prove it. We had 10 people complete the Photo
Contest assignment for the summer and selected three at random for the top prizes. The winners
are: Sean Kirkland, 1st; Rachel Gee, 2nd; and Holly Cross, 3rd. The other participants included Ana
Lambert, Christy Harker, Leia Austin, Serenity Flagg, Tom Face, Sarah Gee, and Melissa Cotton. We
decided to break up publishing all the photos into two months because there were so many and we want
to give them the space they deserve. In the September issue, look for photos from Cross, Face, Gee, and
Cotton. Until then, please enjoy the photos for August of our beautiful Yucaipa.
