Amy Minjares presents a special appreciation plaque to Lynette Alvarado from Wildwood Canyon Villa for her ongoing support of the Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce. Centerpieces and decor by Tamara Prosise Member Appreciation BBQ Well Attended The Yucaipa chamber hosted its annual membership appreciation BBQ on July 17 at the Yucaipa Community Center with almost 70 people attending. The chamber hosts a complimentary BBQ each year as their way of thanking and getting to know chamber members. The board of directors grilled burgers and hot dogs with each bringing a potluck side dish to round out the meal. The BBQ sponsors include donations by: Jose's Mexican Food - chips and salsa; Yogurtland - frozen yogurt; Stater Brothers - bottled water and cookies; and Wildwood Canyon Villa who donated all of the BBQ items as well as condiments etc. Each new chamber member recieved a plaque and briefly spoke about their business. Many chamber members won a raffle prize donated by local businesses including Kopper Kettle, Jersy Mikes, American Road Trip, Jakes, Jojo's Grill a Dog and a Starbucks gift card donated by Wildwood Canyon Villa. Chamber President/CEO Amy Minjares encouraged attendees to attend the Good Morning Yucaipa breakfast on Thurs., Aug. 6. Opening the breakfast will be Mayor Denise Hoyt with Senator Mike Morrell as the speaker.
