FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2015 21 At our last meeting, we reviewed the following items: The repairs and/or modifications to the Bistro are on time and on schedule. Drain maintenance is to be done every eight weeks. We discussed the "New Homeowners Dessert Meet and Greet Orientation" held in June that was attended by 65 homeowners. It was suggested that we supply larger name tags for the guests and need to have more time to set up the Ballroom area used for this event. Management will look into these issues. We meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11 am, in the Lodge Conference Room. All homeowners are invited to attend. ~ William Taylor Bistro Committee safety and facilities committee At our July meeting, we reviewed the following items: At the Lodge, Ballroom cabinets have been refinished. Court windscreens and fence painting is still in process. The re- lamping proposals are being researched for energy savings. Cool decking for the outdoor pool is being researched. A pony wall and sink area for the Ballroom is in the research stage. Installations of new plug covers on the Ballroom floor are scheduled. At the Summit, window tinting for the Exercise Room is in the bidding stage. The indoor solar pool is waiting for parts to complete a rebate application. Installing a flag pole is proposed and has been submitted to the Board of Directors. Cool decking for the pool area is being researched. Furnishings for the spa area are in research stage. In other areas, the windmill turnover repairs should be finished this week. Large illuminated keypad for the Potrero entry gate is in the bidding stage. Concrete repairs to Lewis Creek and Salt Creek sidewalks have been submitted to the Board of Directors. The next meeting of the Safety and Facilities Committee is scheduled for Aug. 4 at 9 am in the Recreation Center North. ~ Dennis Gray Architectural review Committee Happy summer everyone! Just a reminder to get the signatures of your neighbors on your ARC packet form before submitting them All signatures are needed on the application. We will be tightening up on this so please do get those signatures. We seem to be experiencing an increase in requests for solar energy panels. The following should be taken into consideration if you are considering solar panels. Solar or energy panel installations are required to have exterior conduits and boxes painted to match house exteriors. It is preferred that the inverter be installed inside the garage or inside fence line or gate. Preferably the routing of conduits should be through the attic. Anyone who is interested in seeing our committee at work is welcome to come and observe one of our meetings. We meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am in the Lodge Board Room. ~ Marsha Gormley Ad Hoc Lodge/Spa Building Interior Renovation Committee The HOA Board has appointed four residents to serve on a committee which will make recommendations to the Board for the proposed use, remodeling and modifications to the current Lodge and Spa Building. The committee is charged with the development of the best utilization of the buildings for current and future use. The committee members are Don Fant, Dennis Gray, Doug Smith and Sue Trostle. They will solicit suggestions from other residents and will report their findings to the Board of Directors. In spite of reports to the contrary, there are no definite plans at this point to make specific changes. That will be the task of the Ad Hoc Committee as they meet and study the options and needs of our community. ~ Bobbie Eckel
