Horseshoe Club
July brought two things with it, hot weather and
Fourth of July tournaments. The Horseshoe Club
conducted both singles and doubles tournaments
with Harry Henderson winning the singles event
and the team of Richard Carrasco and Ron Erickson
winning the doubles competition (see photos). The
hot weather prompted us to change our starting
time to 6 pm, because we now have a total of 22
members, we have added a second start time of 7
pm in order to ensure equal playing time for all.
Because of our time changes and all the Fourth
of July activities, our social event for July was
postponed until August. We're all looking forward
to it. So as you can see, we are a busy group of
fun-loving folks who just love to throw a little iron
once a week. Come out and join us. We meet at the
Summit every Wednesday evening at 6 pm. If you
