| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2015 | 10 The Four Seasons Art Club for the month of August slows down but there are still are classes going on all summer in the art room. On Tuesdays, Royce Jerman, demonstrates tole painting, and on Wednesday there is tatting and more. This class includes Kumihimo loom beading. Fun! Kathy Anderson's Greeting Card Class also continues once a month. You go home with two handmade greeting cards. The next class is on Aug. 27, 12:30 to 4 pm. We also have one new class to offer, Pat Hall, will hold "Internet Genealogy" on Fridays, Aug. 2, 7, 14 and 21 from 1 to 4 pm and again in September and October. Sign up sheets for all classes are in the art room along with more information and costs. Andre Lohnert will have a one man show starting in August at the new location for the Diamond Valley Art Center, DVAC. The location is at 123 N. Harvard Street, Hemet. Stop in to see the wonderful new gallery showroom and exhibits. They also have music presentations there. Email dvacinfo@gmail.com for more information. The Gallery wall and cabinet for July/August has a group of our residents displaying their work. On the walls we have Jane Pearce. She has been painting for a number of years and continues to enjoy the classes given at Four Seasons. Blair Becker, photographer, has done photography for The Hemet Golf Club and has had his work on the cover of The Herald Magazine. Irene Becker, also graces our wall with two of her works next to her husband, Blair. Nice to have both hang art works. Bev Jones has done oil painting for a number of years and is still signing up for more classes here. In the cabinet and on the wall we have the Counted Cross Stitch art of Patsy Hall. She has been doing the counted cross stitch for over 20 years. The framed pieces show us that art comes in many forms. Please stop and see the works of our talented residents.
