FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2015 33 Performing Arts Club Happy September. I know I hyped the PG-55/Twisted Cabaret show for several months, but it was worth it, wasn't it? It delivered a little bit of everything but was especially big on laughs. "The Little Women" premiered and they were absolutely hysterical. We'll hopefully see them in another show, soon. It was great to see another full house, to hear the laughter & applause. A huge thank you to the talent, crew & especially John Horning, Producer, for a unique show. Well done, everyone! Speaking of shows, the time has come to solicit ideas from you, our community. Please contact me (my info is at the bottom of this article) with the kind of entertainment you would like to see the Performing Arts Club, offer in 2016. We must have your input no later than Oct. 26. During our October monthly meeting, we're going to decide on the specific shows and dates for our 2016 calendar. If you want to be heard, this is your opportunity. If you're interested in being part of the upcoming Radio Show on Oct. 23, now is the time to contact Tom Shelley. We're looking for actors/actresses for specific roles and crew for sound effects and other tasks. Tom chooses two old-time radio show scripts, typically from the 1940's, lasting approximately 20 minutes each. We read directly from the scripts, just like they did on radio. No memorizing of lines. If you have any interest, please call Tom, ASAP, at (951) 849-4494. I promise you, you'll have a fun time doing this. Also coming up on Nov. 6 and 7, PAC is sponsoring the original play, Seasons, written by our very talented Four Seasons resident, Eileen Gilbert. It's a delightful musical appropriate for all ages. Tickets are free and are available starting Oct. 10, until they are gone. Wrapping up the year is our Holiday Show in December. The choir will be taking on some difficult new songs to impress you with along with your all time favorites. This year some members of the Writer's Club are lending their talents and writing essays about "Memories of Holidays Past." These stories will then be read aloud. We would love to have a story or two about Kwanzaa included. If you are interested in this, please contact Sharon Bond at sjbond2013@gmail.com, ASAP. Thanks for reading!
