TGIF on the first and third Fridays of each month is the time to do so. The committee for the 2015 year has tried to plan new and fun evenings and a time to honor our residents, the heart of our community. If you have not come yet it is time to consider joining in the fun and affording yourself the opportunity to try your neighbors delectable culinary delights. On Sept. 4 the committee invites the residents of Bayhill Ave., Hazeltine Lane, Marsh Creek Lane, Glenview Lane, Coghill Lane, Midlothian Lane, Doral Lane, Lakewood Lane, Firestone Lane, Carnoustie Ave., Crooked Cat Lane and Four Seasons Blvd. to be special guests. If you live on one of these streets invite a neighbor to join us. On Sept. 18 the committee invites you to a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame evening, Whether it be the Great Balls of Fire of Jerry Lee Lewis or the calming Bridge Over Troubled Waters of Simon and Garfunkel that reminds you of your younger days you will not want to miss this entertaining evening. It is time to think about next year and the fun that can be planned for your Friday evenings at home. Why not consider joining the TGIF committee with your ideas of what you would like to see happen on the first and third Fridays of each month. The dinner gathering begins at 5 pm. Scrabble Calling all word game players! If you enjoy playing different word games, come on down and check out our little group. Have some fun, socialize with some of your neighbors and give your brain a little workout. We're always looking for more players to challenge us. Join us Mondays at 3:30 pm in the Lodge Multipurpose Room. Book Club All readers interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers and movies, join us the third Monday of the month. Our book for September is Dead Wake by Erik Larson. We will be meeting at my house at 669 Weir Drive at 2 pm. Hope to see all of you. Women In Touch (WIT) As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Bistro at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. After dinner, for those that are interested, we adjourn to the Crafts Room for a couple of games of "nickels," a fun, easy and fast moving game with a jackpot of nickels! This is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons!
