Robert Damico Bob passed away Aug. 27, 2015. He is survived by his wife Alice. He was
born in Oakville, Connecticut. Bob moved to California and attended Venice High School for two
years before enlisting in the army in 1945. He was stationed in Okuma, Japan, and served with the
52nd Field Artillery Battalion as an automotive mechanic. He worked in commercial painting until
he retired in 1963 and moved to Sun Lakes in 1965 with Alice. He loved Sun Lakes, and was active
with swimming, bocce ball and bingo. He loved cruising to Canada, Mexico, Cabo San Lucas and
Alaska for fishing. But most of all he loved hanging out with family and friends.
