20 | sun lakes lifestyles | OCtOBeR 2015 | FALL BOOK FAIR… ONE DAY ONLY! This next Book Fair will coincide with the Sun Lakes Fall Craft Fair and will be a one day sale. It will open for business on Sat., Nov. 7 from 9 am to 2 pm in the Main Clubhouse Library. After attending the craft fair, stop by the Main Clubhouse Library and show your support by buying one or more of your favorite books. All proceeds from the sale will be used to increase the selection of books available for you to read. FREqUENTlY ASKED qUESTIONS: Many of you have asked the same questions concerning the operation of the Sun Lakes Country Club Libraries and we thought it would be a good idea to share the answers. Q: How many libraries do we have at Sun Lakes Country Club and where are they located? A: There are four libraries located in each of our three Clubhouses. • The Main Clubhouse Library houses most of the hardcover books where you can lounge in large comfortable leather chairs. • Also in the Main Clubhouse, across the hall from the hardcover books, is the paperback library where most of the paperback books are stored. Also there is a children's section and a large print section. • In the North Clubhouse library there is a classics section, a non-fiction section and an assortment of paperbacks with mystery, romance and fiction novels. Also, there is a large assortment of puzzles for you to enjoy. • In the South Clubhouse library there is an assortment of fiction paperback novels focused on romance and mystery. Q: I have some extra books to donate to the library. What should I do? A: In each of the libraries there is a tall wooden drop box, much like a podium, with a book drop slot. This drop box is where you would drop off a book being donated. If you are returning a book that you recently borrowed, it should be dropped in the same library from which it was borrowed. Note: All books being donated should be published in the year 2005 or newer and should be in good condition. It is preferred that hard cover books have an un-torn dust jacket. The number of books being donated should not exceed five at one time. If you have more than five books, contact the Library Committee before placing them in the libraries. Q: What happens to the money collected during the annual book sales? A: Money collected from the sale of older and worn out books, is used by the Library Committee to purchase additional books such as large print and children's books for all residents to enjoy.
