The cooler weather has been great for our open
play time in the mornings. We have been getting
up to 20 people wanting to play. Remember our
open times are 8 to 11 am Mondays, Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays. Many of our players
are practicing to play in the Oldlympics. It is
a competition for all seniors in October. It is
presented by the San Jacinto Parks and Recreation.
Many of us have done it past years. It is a fun time
for all and with many events. Check it out onine
and perhaps next year you will enter some events.
Remember, you are never too old to compete
and have fun. It has tennis, golf, bingo, billiards,
volleyball, bowling, horseshoes, table tennis, track
and field, swimming and more. We are going to
be competing in October-so the November Breeze
will let you all know if any of our pickleball players
got a medal.
