Save the date! Nov. 13, at 6:30 pm for Trials, Tribulations and Christmas Decorations a comedy for the holidays. Our story goes like this: Kim's widowed dad, John, is a Grinch and she has decided enough is enough. She plans to break him out of his rut this Christmas and invites several unwanted guests, including John's first love, Leslie, who he has not seen in 30 years; her elderly mother and her 10 year old niece, who seems to want to give John nothing but grief. Add Kim's husband Dennis who John never liked and her friends Laney and Julie, a couple of over- the-top Christmas fanatics, and you have got a Christmas to end all Christmases. When they all get iced in together, seasonal madness ensues and its truly a Christmas that John will never forget. Our cast includes: John, Dick English; Kim, Betty Crase; Dennis, Jim Crase; Leslie, Chris Pounders; Leslie's elderly mother Mae, Emilie Ortega; Julie, Dona Wurzel; Laney, Ginny Cole Weaver; Kelly, the 10 year old, Linda Gentile; and Jenny, the ghost of John's deceased wife, Candace Hawley. The production will be directed by Noreen Scott who did our musical last year. We are also providing a desert bar with holiday fare at intermission, tables for your comfort so you can bring your own BYOR if you like, and all for the cost of $8 per person. As you know we usually charge $7, but we wanted to provide a nicer dessert bar for the holidays. After this show, ticket prices will go back to $7. We are also starting a half hour earlier, because we will need the time at the end of the show to clear the room and put everything away since the room is being used the next day for a big party, the reason why we are doing a Friday night.
