As mentioned in last month's article, if you are new to Sun Lakes or haven't attended the craft fair in the past you are in for a real treat. The multiple kinds of crafts are a tribute to the varied talented people in our midst here at Sun Lakes. We look forward to seeing you on Friday and Saturday between 9 am and 2 pm. Once you have seen all the items we make, we'd love to have you join our group and give us new ideas to create for the spring sale or you can stop by and see us sometime between 12:45 and 2:30 pm on Tuesdays in the Arts and Crafts Room so we can tell you more about what the Sew What Club does year round for the local community. Contact Diane at 769-1953 or Gail at 797-3589 if you have any questions or need items picked up otherwise you can drop off your donations in the Arts and Crafts room. Knitters & Fiber Artists "It was a dark and stormy night." That was the first sentence written by the Peanuts character Snoopy as he was setting out to write the Great American Novel. But as we all know, he often fought "writers block" and never got much past the first chapter. But you could be much more successful than Snoopy if you would join us. We can help you create fiction, non-fiction, memoirs, poetry and many other types of articles. Not only will you receive helpful hints, you will also enjoy some of the best pieces written by some of the best local authors. We meet twice a month. On the first Monday, we meet at 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Our second meeting is in the main room of the North Clubhouse on the third Wednesday at 12:30 pm.
