| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2015 | 9 PROPOSED RULE CHANGE NOTIFICATION 15-12 The Board reviewed the following proposed amendment, to the Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association General Statement of Rules and Regulations (revised July 31, 2015 edition), that appear on the Association's website (www.sunlakescc. com) and are available in the administration office (please reference Article V – Planning and Compliance § 5.09 Recreational Vehicle Storage Area Rules and Regulations - see pages 24), at its Sept. 17, Open Session Meeting. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Dec. 17, Open Session Meeting, following publication in the November 2015 edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect January 1, 2016. If the Dec. 17, Open Session Board Meeting is canceled, the Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Jan. 21, 2016 Open Session Board Meeting and, if the amendment is approved, it will go into effect Feb. 1, 2016. Notice, informing the members of the approval, would be posted in the Main, North and South Clubhouses, in agreement with Civil Code § 4045. Strikethrough = Text to be deleted Bold, Italic and Underlined Text = Text to be added PROPOSED RULE CHANGE 5.09 RECREATIONAL VEHICLE STORAGE AREA RULES AND REGULATIONS 15. Temporary overnight parking/storage of a resident vehicle(s), other than the vehicle(s) identified in their lease requires a Temporary Parking Pass issued by the administrative office. A current lessee may get a parking sticker for one vehicle that is registered to the lessee. The vehicle must be listed on the lease, and may be parked only in the lessees vacant space during the term of the lease. This will allow the specified vehicle to be parked overnight without obtaining an overnight parking pass. Non-authorized parking of a resident or non-resident vehicle(s) will be subject to a fine or towing as determined by lessor, at their sole and absolute discretion. If, 30 days after the date of a written warning, the lessee remains out of compliance, a fine will be levied in accordance with Sun Lakes Homeowners Association Schedule of Fines and Fees, and the vehicle(s) will be removed from SLCC property, in accordance with all applicable laws, Vehicle Code §22658 (a), §22658 (f ), §22658 (g), §22658 (k), §22658 (l), and §22953, at the owner's expense. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Dec. 17, Open Session Meeting, following publication in the November, 2015 edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect Jan. 1, 2016. If the Dec. 17, Open Session Board Meeting is canceled, the Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Jan. 21, 2016 Open Session Board Meeting and, if the amendment is approved, it will go into effect Feb. 1, 2016. PURPOSE: To provide residents the ability to get additional ventilation in their garage during daylight hours. EFFECT: If the rule change is adopted, it would no longer be considered a violation if a resident were to leave their garage door ajar, no more than one (1) foot, during daylight hours.
