Saturday Morning Golf All Sun Lakes golfers are welcome. This is a fun group of men, women, couples and singles. We play every Saturday morning on the Executive Course. Players meet at the North Clubhouse at 8:30 for a 9 am tee off. (July 1-Oct. 1, 8 am check-in 8:30 tee off.) We have tournaments for everyone, plus closest to the pin for men and women. Our tournaments are held every second Saturday with a variety of formats. Trophies at year-end to club champions with the best gross score. Quarterly dinners in the Sandwedge and our Annual meeting in November. CONGRATULATIONS to our 2015 CLUB CHAMPIONS. Men's Low Gross won by Young Hong. Women's Low Gross won by Karen Hoferer. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18-hole tournaments and "away games" a few times during the year. During the winter (October through June) we meet at 8:30 am with a tee time of 9 am. On the third Tuesday of the month is our monthly meeting and lunch ($10) at the South Clubhouse. Guests are always welcome! For lunch info., call Sharon Mills, 845-8134. Tournaments are usually held every Thursday. First week of the month is Pick Your Own Foursome scramble. The tournament chairman will make up the foursomes for other play days, usually one player from each flight. Once a month a general meeting is held when members are informed of results of board meetings, upcoming social events and new members introduced. We are a fun group, always striving to improve our golf score and interact with our fellow Golf Niners friends. Women's Golf If you are looking for an enjoyable challenge on our championship course and the camaraderie of many golf "sisters" join us in the S.L.W.G.C. We play Thursday mornings and the first Saturday of the month. Tournaments are flighted and a $65 membership fee includes a W.S.C.G.A. sanctioned handicap.
