7 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | November 2015 | A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli Hello! Before I go any further, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped with the car show. I had a wonderful committee who worked hard to make this happen. The committee volunteers were: George Doktorczyk, John Tarabochia, Victoria Danner, Don Cato, Carolyn and Bill Ashdown, John and Colleen Ferguson, Margie Culton, Carole Eshelman, Mary Swinney, Nancy Hawkins, and Royce Jerman. Ernie Hamner helped get our volunteers from the Marine ROTC at Tahquitz High School. Thank you also to the members of Access Control, Street Captains, and Emergency Preparedness that helped with gate access and traffic control and parking. We had many outside businesses that helped cover the expenses of this venture — Eric Gosch and the whole Gosch Auto Group, Ken Warner of Mickey Thompson Tires, Rebecca Singleton of Damsel in Defense, Carrie Kuvakas of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Erin Furlong of Danmar Insurance, Nate Dominguez of Pep Boys Speed Shop — to whom I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH! All of our residents who volunteered their time and energy to "work" the event, artists and crafters who added a great benefit to the day with their displays, and all the car owners that showed their vehicles — THANK YOU! Not one event that goes on here does it by itself — it takes a huge group of people behind the scenes to make it happen. I hope when you see these people or visit these businesses you will say THANK YOU as well! Now, on to what is coming up this month. Sun., Nov. 8 will be our "Tribute to Veterans" show. This is a free show, but will require that you have a ticket to enter, as our seating is limited. We are proud of our veterans, and wish to thank them for their service with this program.
